Pretty lighthouse, very picturesque. Nearby buildings are built touching the ocean with stairs into the water. Just 300 metres south there is an interesting church, also well worth a visit, so much so that visiting Madrilena enter.

One of the highest light houses in Spain. Very pretty on a nice location. Open for visits.
I love just hanging out near this lighthouse. The area is gorgeous and lively. You can get amazing photos of this lighthouse pretty much anytime of the day. There are certain hours the lighthouse is open to the public and you can climb to the top. Nothing special but a beautiful view.
A great landmark when visiting Chipiona. There are tours where you can climb the internal stairs to the light at the top. The tours have to be reserved well in advance to secure a place as it's a working lighthouse that provides an important service to the ships and boats that operate in the area. So it's not focused on tourism. It was also the perfect vantage to see the Lunar eclipse.
Do not trust the hours listed online. You can not enter the lighthouse without an appointment for most of the year, and appointments are very limited. Book in advance via phone or email; I suggest at least a month ahead of time in summer and 2 weeks the rest of the year. The attendants at the Tourism Office speak some English as well as other popular languages in addition to their native Spanish. The area is lovely to walk and have a coffee/gelato if you can't get in the light house, cathedral, or castle for some reason.
