A favourite place to dine in Spice Alley with Singapore style hawker food. Been here so many time over the years it's a good area for enjoy hawker street food in outdoor dinning. Tried many dishes over the year they make my favourite is the curry dry egg noodles, wanton noodles and roti dishes.

First time trying their laksa. I ordered mine with boiled chicken. Personally, I liked the dish! The chicken was tender, and the soup was rich. There was a nice balance of protein, vegetables and noodles. I got a decent meal out of it for 14. I usually order their roti dishes (which have never disappointed me in the past), but felt like something different - and again, I wasn’t disappointed. Overall, I’ve been going to Spice Alley since my university days, and Alex Lee’s Kitchen was my go to small, street meal. I can’t imagine a Spice Alley without it. Looking forward to my next visit to Spice Alley, and seeing my “old friend” again!

I got the crispy fried hainanese chicken rice, this comes with soup, chicken rice and fried hainanese chicken. The rice was mushy from too much liquid and did not taste like chicken rice, it was very bland. The soup serving portion decreases everytime I come here. They serve less and less and it again has become very tasteless or watered down. The fried chicken is fine but nothing special. Ive been coming here for a few years but the quality in food and effort has severely declined. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Decided to try the roti canai yesterday based on reviews, however was extremely disappointing. The roti canai came straight out of a frozen pack like the ones you get at the asian grocery shops. Would not recommend.

Very accommodating, provided great service and a discount on a non-special day.

Ordered 15 crispy noodle with beef. It was very bland, gravy has no taste at all. Just thickened water. Very disappointing experience

My go to place for a laksa, they have changed the crispy chicken & it is no longer battered unfortunately. So I’d recommend the normal chicken. Soup base is full bodied with all the right flavour combinations & just right consistency. Yum!
