Absolutely beautiful place to visit. Been past many times over the years and always wanted to call in, finally got the chance and I was not disappointed. Though the house was closed due to current situations, the grounds are beautiful. Will return in the dryer weather to walk the grounds thoroughly.

Whilst the House is closed, the grounds are my favourite of any National Trust Property I've visited. If I could give 6 stars I would. The landscape is fabulous with stunning panoramic views west across the Severn Valley; you can see the Severn Bridge in the distance. The House is nestled into the valley and fronts a beautiful linear stretch of formal gardens. Then you have the terraces that lead up behind the Chapel. Just such great topography for this Estate, a true joy to visit and walk here.

Had a lovely autumnal day out. There is lots to explore here. Plenty of walking around the wider estate and nice gardens to look around. Formal gardens are best enjoyed in the summer as they are more herbaceous based. The cafe serves a range of hot and cold refreshments. Inside seating is fairly limited. Carpark is very large and easy to park in.
Fantastic autumn colours in the gardens. Mist and rain added to the visual impact. Staff so friendly...helped us make the most of our experience.
