My daughter moved in, having received NO notice that ALL classes had been moved online. We did not know she had another roommate assigned until she moved in, since her first roommate canceled, even though they assured us they would let us know. There's no way to get out of the lease despite the closure of the campus, and they've popped us for late fees even though we set up the automatic payments through our bank. This place is a disaster, and I strongly encourage parents to avoid it for their students.

My honest opinion is that there are better places to live for around the same price. It's an old building, you have to pay for laundry, the wifi barely worked and if it did it was super slow, the locks on the doors to the building weren't always locked so I never really felt safe, our room flooded multiple times due to leaks in the ceiling, the building over all is dirty and smells pretty bad, the fire alarm goes off twice a week or more even at 2:00 in the morning. Its not awful if its the only choice you have, if you're stuck living here some pros are that the students and RA's are really nice and the rooms are really big, and its close to the cafe and the 15-20 minuet walk to campus isn't bad at all. I recommend bringing a lot of decorations so it doesn't feel like a prison:)

The RAs are good people but overall the place is overpriced and not worth it to live on campus. I have six reasons why: 1. The fire alarm is off at certain times and most times is a false alarm. Needs to be fixed in the future! 2. Maintenance needs to fix any issues such as the lights, windows, rodents, and other needs in the room. Which that never happened when I had a crack through my window. 3. The rooms are not worth it and needs to be deeply cleaned before the new year starts. I saw a roach when I moved in and had to clean up. 4. I got charged a cleaning fee of 32 and I cleaned up the room myself before moving out and I checked everything. 5. The doors of the building are not that great, one side of building is left open 24/7 and it’s broken. 6. Lastly, you have to pay 2.00 to wash and dry your clothes in the laundry room and you have to be really careful when putting loads. For incoming freshmen or first year students, I do not recommend living at Chisholm hall! Live at other dorms on campus.

All the 5 star reviews were forced as part of a review for candy type thing worst academic semester there pick a different dorm. Edit: Upon trying to resolve an issue which arose from them saying my floors were dirty from me and not their lack of maintenance on the dorms I received a letter from them demanding I pay 50 or it will go to a collection agency. Get a University owned dorm as these people are scam artists.
