Wow had a blast, DJ Mark played great music on the boat, his new boats are great to dip off of. We had one of the most eXciting experiences I’ve ever had on the copper river. And I got a 45# king just a few moments later :-). I defiantly recommend.

We had a great experience with Tom, Chris, Mark, Austin and Jesse as our guides and caught some delicious copper river salmon! We are already looking forward to next year! Thank you!

Awesome experience with an extremely knowledgeable guide. Highly recommend them to anyone who wants to put fish in the boat!

Seriously disappointed they don't take you to differant spots to "find the fish" you go to kne spot and stay there for 5 hours weather you catch fish or not. Boat is crowded with 6 people on board and we only caught 30 salmon for the entire boat, thats an average of 5 per person. Cheaper to buy the stuff vs using this company.

My wife and I took "The Dipnet Express" on 06/30/2020 and had a blast. We regularly travel around the globe and interact with guides and charters. We (actually "I") conduct extensive research before contracting a service provider, and usually, our expectations are met. However, we rarely write a review because we choose to show our appreciation through generous tipping. To be honest, I (not "us" just me) am a very lazy person. However, this is one of those few instances we felt the need to go a little further. Our expectation for this trip was to experience dipnetting and have fun, not to fill the freezer with fish and our veins with omega-3. So, the five-hour charter would have been labor intensive for us. Anyway, we were hoping to catch around 5 to 10 to share with some of our friends, but ended up with 23 in less than two hours of dipnetting despite low runs in 2020 (check the Copper River sonar information at ADFG website). After we arrived at AK eXpedition campground, Richard kindly drove us to the launching site. Capt. Tom gave specific instructions for everything. If you follow his words, you will catch fish - if it's in the water. Deckhand Chris worked efficiently to take fish out of the net, bonk its head, bleed it, clip its tail, and finally store it in the cooler. Upon return, Richard again drove us back to the campground. They were all very kind and extremely professional. It is worth noting that AK eXpedition is owned and operated by veterans. Respect. We hope it keeps thriving, and people don't try to take advantage of their kindness. See you in June 2021.

Had a great day in the river with AK Expeditions. Even with low fish counts, the day was beautiful and we still caught a good amount of fish for the freezer. Definitely would recommend this to others looking for a charter on the Copper River.

Awesome and Fantastic. Just drifting in the zodiac boat while dip netting the Copper River with Cody, our guide, was a Bucket List checkoff. We each caught Kings and Reds. Well worth the experience. This is definitely an experienced operation with welcoming crew. I can't wait to go again. Thanks everyone for memories made.
