I'm perplexed at several reviewers here reporting the new location as being noisy compared with the previous location. My experience has been precisely the opposite: In fact, I usually ordered take-out from the old location to avoid the noise and, at the new location, I've spent dozens of hours in peace and quiet chomping on delicious food or cocktail catching up on my email. The food is and service are both consistently ver good to excellent.

Coming from another country, we have been looking for a local/close by place that is our regular / go-to place. Finally found it in Chop Bar. Friendly, unpretentious service, tasty tasty food. Love it!

Great covid experience. Ordered using our phones, paid all through Square. Super easy. Food was great, had the oxtail poutine and guac and chips, so good. Would definitely come back here another day.

A really great spot in the JLS area for drinks and food. Food is good, nothing to complaint about. Drinks stood out for me. The bloody mary is a visual treat and almost a dish in itself with all the root veggies and bacon added to it. Friendly staff. The vibe is cool and casual. Great spot for meals with friends.
