I recently visited the chophouse for my birthday dinner and it was a phenomenal experience. We made reservations online and ended up running a little late and the staff was still super accommodating when we arrived. The atmosphere is very relaxing and to say the food was amazing would be an understatement. Our waiter Martin was so nice and did a great job of explaining the menu to us. He gave us some advice on which steak to choose and it was the BEST steak I have tasted in my life. Overall we had a great dinner and I will definitely return when I visit New Orleans in the future.

So I’m a high maintenance Texan when it comes to steak, and my meal was phenomenal - including my dirty martini with blue cheese stuffed olives! Atmosphere was lovely and so relaxing. Joe helped me this evening and was a delight. Highly recommend- I’ll be back!
We went here for Christmas eve dinner. They were pretty busy and we did need to wait an extra 15 minutes past our reservation. They did a good job of spacing the place out so you don't feel too close to anyone. The service here is top notch all the staff is so great! We each had a drink from the bar which were all well made. We had crab and the bacon steaks for an appetizer so good and really great portions. As the main course we got the lobster, a rib eye steak, the onion rings (which are huge) and the onions and mushrooms. We had a table of 4 and all that was more than enough food for us. Everything was so good it was hard to stop eating but we all wanted some room left for the gigantic chocolate cake. I took a picture so you can really see how big this thing is! Its huge and plenty for a table of 6 but we only had 4 haha
Words cannot express enough good things about this place. The service is impeccable and the food is like nothing else. Joseph, our server, was the kindest, most personable person I have ever had the pleasure of meeting at a restaurant. I am from California, and the service in this restaurant was 100 times better than anything that I have ever seen before. Joseph took the time to understand our needs, provide friendly and quick service, and made sure that we were comfortable. I absolutely love this place, and a special thanks to Joseph for making our experience so special and memorable. And the food; top notch :)
Tsunami seafood platters catch locals in a net with delicious lobster, crab, and shrimp. The filet’s will have you unable to moo..ve after grazing on the 1 pound stuffed potatoes. Excellent service provided by Martin and his protégés.
