Called him to replace my elderly fathers basin tap which he did after a few trips to the merchant to get the right tap. The seating came loose after a few weeks because ‘ I haven’t got the right spanner’. Tried calling him several times and left messages but with no response. Blocked my caller ID and got an answer, he sounded surprised said he was busy etc etc, gave me his word on two separate occasions second time said it’s ‘in the diary’ to this day he hasn’t responded even to have the decency to say I cannot do it, very DISSATISFIED

Chris is very easy to work with. The job specifications changed substantially during the course of the work and he accommodated all the changes without any difficulty. It was all completed to a a high standard, and we are very satisfied customers.
Booked a boiler service. I came home early from work to let him in but he was over two hours late, and failed to call or text to let me know this. I did manage to speak to him but he was very unapologetic. This remained the case when he eventually arrived. He did the job incredibly quickly (which may or not be normal, I don't know). He was relatively friendly, but the complete lack of apology or information about his lateness was unprofessional. I know tradesmen are incredibly busy but there's no excuse for poor manners, especially as I left work early. Once the job was done, he failed to ask if I wanted a certificate. I've been told that certificates for boiler services are legal requirements, but I don't know if this is the case or not. Either way, some weeks later, I asked him by email, text and phone to send me a certificate. He occasionally responded but, even after I sent him the photos and information he asked for, he never sent me it. I'd have preferred if he'd just said, \I can't provide a certificate\ rather than waste my time. Pricing-wise, he's about average as far as I'm aware. However, I know that I'm not the only one to be frustrated by him. Several of my former colleagues also paid him for work and were equally unimpressed.

Hot water tank started leaking, no replies from other plumbers. Called Chris who was able to take a look within a few hours. Came back the next day to fit a new one. Kept us informed the whole time. Very polite, clean, friendly, fast service and reasonably priced. Will definitely be using Chris again!
