Bought a car in Feb 2020. It was a very pleasant, fast and easy transaction for a good price and clean car. Only a week later, it started to have spark plug problems which was a bit of a mess and it was hard to get a claim sorted, but 2CheapCars did pull through eventually. 11 months later my car is still perfect. Would buy here again. Thanks.

We experienced really poor service here. We had booked a test drive and showed up on time, waited 10 minutes for the only salesperson to finish up with some other clients. He then led us to the car we were meant to be test driving which was parked behind another car and COVERED in bird poo. Whilst he moved the other car out of the way, we opened the car door to look inside only to be met with a strong smell of cigarette smoke. Couldn't believe the car wasn't clean and ready for test driving especially since it was booked. Between that and the lazy service, we walked away. I do not recommend this place.

I do not stand by the one star given. I can not give this company a rating unless Negative 1000 is an option. There is no professional consideration to the Consumer Guarantees Act or The Fair Trading Act. They lie and mislead the purchaser continously. No service is provided, yet you will find signs saying so throughout the CHCH dealership or they will say it's done onsite, yet there is NO mechanic at this dealership, then tell you the compliance centre does it, yet they dont as they only ensure the vehicle meets the standards for NZ roads. After getting it home, we found the vehicle was not durable and safe for private purchase. There were absolutely NO lubricants in the car, anyone who understands cars will know this can cause servere damage to a engine and they should've had this checked properly but when challenged on this they took the car to a mechanics and then told the mechanic NOT to touch it (before screwing us around for a week, lie after lie) They just weren't willing to do a proper check on the vehicle and then without discussion the claims team chose to buy the car back and are now screwing us around with returning the funds. The people at the CHCH dealership can not be trusted, any recommendations would be "Get your car checked by the AA before proceeding with any purchase from this company". The claims team will not commit to any liability if anything goes wrong under the guidelines of the consumers warrenty aswell. Am highly confused how this company has been fined hundreds of thousands for misleading their purchasers and are still able to operate. There are too many negative sales from this dealership. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND! RUN NOW!
