I won't suggest anyone staying there as the owner Neville Perkins is a thief and a fraudster (he stole 800) from my mum's handbag that she left in the room (locked) while my parents were having breakfast. She knew someone had been to her bag is because she found her bag on the floor as oppose to under the table where she left it before she went for breakfast. He entered the room with the spare key and locked it back when he left. He was acting suspiciously that morning, keep checking on my parents while they were having breakfast. He also willingly took payment in advanced without any formal receipt (apart from the eftpos receipt) and when my parents asked for the refund (they paid in advanced for a month), the owner wasn't happy and pretty much not willing to do a refund. This case has been going on for over a month now and so far he only refunded 1000 (which we believe the 800 was from the stolen money) and he still owed my parents 2440. I've been emailing him asking for the rest of the refund, the only answer I've got is: "I am a very small business with very narrow profit margins , when I have the money you will get it". I'm going to seek a legal advice and see what we can do to get my parents money back.
