Jess is awesome. I managed to get a last minute appt after a bit of a hair disaster from another salon the day before. Jess took the time to listen and then took so much care to achieve a result that I love. I am so appreciate of her skill and care. All of the stylists are friendly and the salon has a lovely, calm vibe. I will definitely be returning.

Outstanding salon. I've been to many over the years, and my cutcolour with Megan is by far the best I've had. She has such a great eye for detail and was able to take my hair from being dull and unevenly coloured to glowing, voluminous and with perfectly blended balayage. Megan is also very friendly and down to earth. I'm so happy with my experience that I will be making the trip from Auckland to Christchurch more often to get my hair done here

Went here for a blonde balayage and got exactly the opposite. I left with a darker color than I came in with, was nothing like the photo I gave them an example of. I was understanding of the fact that I might’ve not gotten as light as I wanted, but I literally left with brunette hair. Wrong toner or something but I left upset. When I contacted the owner she wasn’t understanding at all, very stand offish and accusatory. She offered nothing. Not even for me to come back and get what It fixed. She said they did nothing wrong. She was derogatory of where i was from too since I’m from america she said we use ‘chemicals’ that kill your hair. Anyway, not worth 300 for half a head of balayage. I went somewhere else that was half the price, included a haircut, and made me wayyyy blonder! Will not be coming back here ever again!
Excellent hair salon, very high quality and excellent result. Tom had great advice about what would look best and very good attention to detail. Would highly recommend.
There’s nothing not to love! Such lovely customer service, professional, knowledgeable staff and stunningly beautiful results at a steal of a price considering the level of service provided. Booking yourself in for a service at Balayage feels like you’re sneaking away for a little urban retreat. LOVE!
Awesome place great hair cut
Wow what an awesome Salon, not only do they do great cuts for women, they do amazing men’s cuts as well. For a first timer I felt welcome and as if I’d been coming here for ever. Thanks guys
