No appointment needed. Lovely staff, and a very informal and modern open plan client area. Park in the new Lichfield Street Car Park (free for first hour, cheap even if you stay longer) rather than the useriously expensive Wilson parking next door.

The atmosphere here is a world away from immigration nz. People are very friendly and welcoming, respectful, relaxed. Even joking with passport applicants. "Bring me something back from Somalia!" "I could bring you a goat?"
