We sold our house with Chris Lewis and his team. The experience was fantastic. Everyone worked hard for us and Steven Marshall (also of the Fendalton team) brought in the buyer for our home. Through a long period of being under offer "subject to sale" the team continued to keep us well informed and looked after through what could have been a rather stressful time.

I visited a property, and met Sam Chamberlain the property agent. I have never in 25 years of renting encountered such a rude and unprofessional agent. He rolled his eyes at my questions and refused to answer even the most basic questions and asked me "what my problem is". He made offensive remarks about the current tenants, in front of prospective tenants, indicating a complete lack of professionalism. A good insight into how they will treat future tenants.

NEVER AGAIN!! My partner and I rented a property from Harcourt from April 2018 to April 2019. When we moved into the property it was very dirty the kitchen needed to be cleaned, especially over the kitchen shelves. After about a week we came home and there was new blinds in the kitchen. We had no email or communication from Harcourts Holmwood that they( a cleaner or whoever ) would be entering the property. We got a fright as we thought someone had been in the house first, but then noticed the blinds. It was very hard to get in contact with our property manager and I actually have never received a call back from them. When they had an open home in the house the lady told me that the property manager was “getting to big for her boots and that she was now taking over the property and a couple of properties in the area”.It is also important to state that this lady was not professionally dressed. Her crop top was uncomfortable to me. Before we moved out I called the office and asked this lady if I could cut the lawns and put the lawn cuttings in the bins. She said not to worry about the lawn. We paid for a cleaner to clean the property. We later got charged for a cleaner and a Gardner to cut the lawn. Basically, Harcourts in my opinion are unprofessional, lack communication skills and are very unorganised company. I would never rent of them again. Never again.

Unfortunately my experiences with Harcourts, attending several auctions, purchasing property, and looking at how they manage their rentals made me decide I would NEVER deal with them in any capacity again.
