This is a lovely park lots of seating skateboard area play area & a duck pond. You can walk right through the the other side where there is another playground as well as Jellie Pools & Aurora Centre. Lots of paved walkways with bridges. Toilet facilities plenty of bins for rubbish & almost always some interesting frisbee throwing. Well laid out & interesting.

Very good facilities. I'd say a longer outdoor pool season given still warm weather in April even if mornings and evenings are cooler,considering sea swimming is still warm enough in October and April. Jellie park outside pool I'd give late September thru early May .

First time at the outdoor pools. Amazing value and had such a good time with my partner. I loved they provide inflatable toys and the outdoors as well as indoors slides. Everything was clean even though it was a crowded Sunday afternoon. Will definitely be back.

Visited here with the Marist water Polo Auckland Club to Play Canterbury. Water Polo Club. Pool was small by water polo standards but we were well hosted by Canterbury. They went to a lot of trouble yo make us feel at home and we had a great trip experience. Enjoyed being out of Auckland and the Canterbury hospitality.

Outdoor pool good for older children or adults but toddlers only get a small area. The indoor toddler pool is very small. Prefer pioneer.
