Visited this place Sunday with my 5 year old son. This woman can’t cut men’s hair. Absolutely terrible. The lady herself was rather nice. However this doesn’t make up for the fact my hair looks terrible. My poor 5 year old looks like he was attacked with sheep shears. AVOID this place. Awful haircuts.! Completely destroyed both of our hairs. Shocking.! Very disappointed

This is very nice and very handy hairdresser's almost across the road from Countdown. No appointment is necessary just drop in. Parking is around the back and on the street so it should be no problem. In busy times there are at least 3 hairdressers on duty The hairdresser on duty when I went in was most helpful and made a great job with my haircut. I would recommend Madisons as a good place to get a haircut.
Having been a more than satisfied customer of this hairdresser on and off, for a number of years. I was today extremely disappointed by the service. 25/01/2020. As there were no other customers present I expected prompt service only to be asked to wait while the hairdresser finished her text conversation. I fully understand the pressures of a busy premises but to walk into an empty establishment to see hair all over the floor is a little disappointing. I wouldn't consider "number 2 up the sides and back cut shorter on the top and thin out," to be too much of an ask of a trained professional, but no, I had to remind her again and then after she thought she had finished and removed the cape, that she still hadn't thinned my hair out. To be fair I wouldn't consider this to be a review of the salon more a dig at a very unproffesional staff member.
Great friendly staff, Always leave happy with how my hair looks
Good for blokes and kids. Staff seem knowledgeable. They have facilities for females hair and beauty too but I can't speak to that, I just know the staff rotate so you might get a different person each few times.
Hairdresser worked beyond closing time to cut our grand kids hair. She was helpful, pleasant and did a great job. Thanks
