Mama Hooch it's a little coffee shop located only few min walk down from Christchurch Town Hall. The food was good and excellent coffee.

Beautiful Chardonnay, beer that is the nectar of the gods and food that will stimulate the most particular pallette. The barman, Riley, absolutely ties the whole thing together with amazing service delivery.
A wee way out of the rest of the other bars and clubs. Next to the restaurant Rangoon Ruby on Colombo St, a great bar to end up with on a Saturday night. Friendly security staff. Retaining its class. Must wear cover shoes. Live DJ mixing crowd's favourites with techno style music. Bartenders were great at what they were doing.
If you want a small quiet place for a dinner with a girlfriend then this is not the best place as there is no nooks to hide in. If you are a casual group looking to gather in one place before heading further into the city or a couple drinks before a show it is a great place to start. Good friendly staff and the young waitress even asked for my number (something to do with covid sadly)
Great Breakfast, something for every taste. I had muesli with lots of fruits and yogurt und it was delicious, as was the coffee. This and a nice and friendly staff, you cannot ask for more.
Great service, drinks and food both came out very quickly. I want to go back again already! It was very fresh and flavorful.
This place has nice decor but it doesn't make up for the incredibly rude staff. The bouncer decided that I shouldn't be wearing a hat, but instead of saying something he thought it would be okay to take my hat off my head for me. When my friend and I asked for a small sample of one of the beers, the bartender basically threw the glass on the bar towards us. I wouldn't go back here if I was paid.
Delicious coffee with a salmon bagel and the missus had an amazing French toast with berry and syrup. Highly recommended
