I had a very unpleasant experience with the staff at the Northwood branch in Christchurch when I took my overheating samsung s9 phone in for a warranty claim. They're very keen to take your money and sell you a 5 year warranty. However it's a very different experience when you claim. I was made to feel like a criminal. The phone was sent away to assess for 2 weeks and found to have a defective battery. They needed to be told they were in breach of the fair trading act to get them to do the right thing and even then they didn't offer me a refund or replacement as I was entitled to. Just offered me a 2 year old phone at no extra charge. Not rushing back again safe to say. However I did get my full refund in the end. I walked over the Harvey Norman and was looked after very well.

Will at Noel Leemings was great to deal with. The store staff are friendly and helpful. I was treated like a vip. I love my new Oppo phone- it's camera is the best I've used yet. Check out the photos below for colour and clarity. Will really knew what he was talking about. He even got my plan sorted too. Thanks Will and the team. Great store!!!!

Despite staff nearby not busy or serving, thought I'd see how long it took waiting with my son for anyone to approach us and ask if we needed help, which we did as the item my son wanted to purchase was locked in a case. I explained to my son after several long minutes that we were apparently invisible. Eventually had to ask politely if it wouldn't be to much trouble for us to purchase something. They graciously allowed us to.

Despite not having customers to serve and staff standing around talking we waited at the counter to be served without any approach to see if we needed any help. We were then called out to from behind another checkout by Alice who after presenting our query called to Sam who very disinterestedly wandered to the counter, spoke with a condescending tone to solve her query. We asked where n item of interest was andshe pointed over to one of the displays were ,no offer of help . Not great customer service and maybe some help with attitude? My accolades to Krishna who when we were standing at the display approached us asking if we needed assistance and was very helpful in solving another query !

These guys are awesome! The store manager, really looked after me when I had issues with a recent purchase. A happy customer is what he wanted, and I really am! I would very much, without hesitation, recommend this store!
