Initially rented for four weeks, I kept the car for more than three months following the successive cancellations of my flights back to France. Successive renewals went very smoothly, and at unbeatable prices !! I will not have enough words to describe this hospitality for which the Kiwis are renowned. When I had a flat tire, while I was getting my luggage down from the trunk two guys stopped, and they changed the wheel, then left so quickly that I didn't have time to thank them. It's amazing !! You have a very very beautiful country, with very welcoming inhabitants, and being confined six weeks to Opononi during levels 4 and 3 was more of a dream than a nightmare !! Thank you for everything. God save the Kiwis !! Gerard

A year ago we hired from Omega in Queenstown and the car was very reasonably priced but we got what we paid for! Missing hub caps, radio we couldn't get to work, and generally really tired. This year we opted to pay more and booked well ahead for a 2 year old Corolla. I checked many other companies and it was the cheapest and best value. A few months later I looked on line at their rates for the same hire and they were 55 cheaper. I emailed them and they readily reduced the price. Thank you Omega. The car was great. Excellent condition and brilliant value. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We will definitely use them again....and will check their price again closer to actual hire date in case it is lower than when we booked.

Enjoyed my car rental with Omega Rentals. They offered a clean and reliable car at an affordable price. Great value for money compared to other car rentals who charge excessive prices for their vehicles. Liked the fact they have both a City office and Airport location in Chch to pickup and drop-off. Would thoroughly recommend them for someone who wants a car to rent just to travel and visit sights at an affordable cost.

We hired a Nissan Tiida for 2 weeks travel around the South Island. 700 with no excess was about 1000 less then competitors (although an older model car). It wasn't the Mustang I would have loved for all those twisting mountain roads but overall we could not have been more satisfied with the car and the service from Omega. Excellent value for money and the car was reliable, had great boot space and was nippy enough with no external indication that it was a rental. I would recommend Omega if you are travelling round NZ South Island.

We booked the "special" car at 21.99 per day. The car was a Toyota Vitz which was perfect for the two of us. We drove to Akaroa from Christchurch and drove up a steep hill to go on a hike. The car was great. We were very pleased. Very easy to pick up and return. Would definitely recommend and would be happy to use this company again.
