The seagull pit is Christchurch’s most underrated local treasure. Perfect spot to view endangered black billed gulls like you have never seen them before! For the perfect date night view the seagull pit after having a bite to eat or a drink on new regent street

My three year old absolutely loved this spot. Definitely the cutest squabs we've ever seen. Fun for the whole family. Make sure you have your E. Coli vaccination.
Wow. Such a treat. Did not expect to see this in the city in such a unexpected place. Nature is so resilient. Although a hit to the senses.
Smelly as. Seagulls stole my chips. Wouldnt recommended
What an absolute treasure to have such a unique wildlife sanctuary just a stone’s throw from other amazing spots like Margaret Mahy playground and new regent st. I really appreciated the information panels with facts on the various species of seagulls who call this place home
Nothing sums up Christchurch more to me than this seagull pit. It is a really excellent experience. I particularly like how the spires of broken concrete with twisted metal are visible on approach as a teaser.
A vibrant display of Christchurch city life. Good luck social distancing here!
All five senses were fully engaged; an absolute must-see in Christchurch.
