Following an initial phone consultation with Bruce at Tax Link Christchurch, I signed with Chris at Tax Link Invercargill, to do my End of Year Returns. Chris has been my Business Accountant for 4 years. I employed Tax Link because they used MYOB Accounting Software, which I already had setup on my home computer. The issue I had, was, that when my accounts went into have the End of Year Return completed, the Accountant didn't use the same software, so I was paying fees to have it done over again. TaxLink was up to speed with the MYOB and in fact changed me over to MYOB Ledger. This meant a saving of 40.00 per month, as I was paying MYOB for software I wasn't using. Chris, went through my accounts and sorted out a number of issues I had. In conjunction with Bruce and Joe from the Christchurch TaxLink the new system was setup. I have had no problems, last years Return is completed without me having to take anything into the office, as Chris has online access to my accounts. Not only is the MYOB Software cheaper my Accountant fees are as well Fantastic result, from a fantastic bunch of guys and gals

Stay clear of these accountants as they worked out my end of year tax @ nearly 30k i had to pay a new accountant which worked out at 12K and now they wont me to pay them.

I have only been a client for one year but I am already very impressed. I went to Tax Link because I received a large tax bill that I did not expect. Bruce clearly explained that an employers reporting error had caused me to receive the bill and immediately took action via the IRD to successfully correct the mistake. Great service received from Bruce and his team. I would definitely recommend them!

I "inherited" this company after my previous great accountant left. I fired them after a few months as they keep increasing the fees for preparing our small business GST. They have made errors in my income and put down money we have not earned. They won't answer my emails despite me approaching three different people. I have paid tax on money I have not earned ! We are seeking legal advice. WARNING do not use Tax Link Christchurch or Timaru. I noticed this company has published a rebuff. THEY NEVER EVER RESPONDED TO ANY COMMUNICATION over this issue and I had to pay another accountant to confirm what I already knew, that they had taken money from my house sale as EARNINGS. I didn't even have my business set up during that time period.
