We went as a big group and we decided to get the set menu, for 50 you sure got a lot of food we were all so full by the end. All the food was amazing, everything we had on the menu was delicious and a lot of variety to try lots of different things on the menu. I preferred doing it this way as the first time we went we did a few small things to share and I think the set menu is better value for money. Cocktails were very yummy as well
like
we went there for steak. after we got our drink, we were told no steak. i wonder as a important main course. do u need to notice customers when they start ordering anything? this is not a way to make customers to stay there to make one time money. the most unacceptable thing is about our meal. we ordered chicken wings, yes we do get wings with some big pieces chicken feathers on......after we told the staffs, the only thing we got is "sorry" and that's it. not happy at all.
Food is great, Our table had the Comilona menu which was good value for money. Disappointing part was the service, the table took an hour longer than when we booked for, the delivery of courses had huge gaps in getting to our table that we had to ask continuously if we had been forgotten about, the courses weren't explained well or at all at times, and drinks orders were never taken and if we did approach the bar for drinks they ended up at the wrong table or not at all.
Overall it was a good experience because the staff were so friendly and attentive. There were some little things wrong with the food. The venison was tender and beautiful with the wild rice but the pork belly wasn't cooked properly with the top being too hard to cut into and the pork slightly dry. The blue swimmer crab soup/sauce was too salty to handle (for both me and my friend). The mocktails were great! Refreshing and full of flavour. Overall we had a good time and enjoyed the atmosphere. Last time I had the gnocchi and it was fantaasstic
Went out for dinner with my bosses and we all have things we can't eat, but it was amazing. The waitress helpt us find things we could have and it was all wonderful, I'd definitely go again
Awful food, and worst dining experiece I've had. Very poor service, as a group of 4 we had to wait over an hour to get drinks and on arrival we had the plastic ring from a bottle inside our pitcher. The drink I originally wanted wasn't available because it had an ingredient that's illegal in NZ, why is it on the menu?? Menu is confusing and was not well explained. Food was extremely poor standard, medium rare ribs turned out well done and were ruined, pork was under cooked and no crackling just a lump of fat. Over priced meal and overall very diaspointed.
Absolutely terrible Arrived at 6.30 and ordered entrees about 15minutes later. Took over an hour to arrive and were all cold Another hour and 15minutes later the mains arrived, all overcooked, the same colour and generally a let down. Wait staff did what they could, but drinks were also slow to arrive and generally average service. Almost three hours after arriving we were finished, but not due to having a good time. By far the worst dining experience ive had and i once waited three hours for a pizza to arrive in wimbledon.
we had been trying to book a table but could not use the online booking as it said to ring but after 10 phones calls going unanswered left a message only to not hear back for hours. Have now book elsewhere as this is not a customer friendly service. You need to lift your game and at least answer your phone. Not impressed
