Mid week good time to celebrate. Quiet and not so busy. Staff very friendly, excellent service. Give your local a call. You want be disappointed.

I had the ribs which were very disappointing. Boiled meat on the bone with some sauce drizzled over, coleslaw was also very underwhelming. My wife had the fish n chips which had a tiny portion of fish and salad. Expensive meals for what you get with very little flavour. I dined here previously and had an average meal, but thought I'd try again hoping it was just a one off, unfortunately not the case....

Perfect place to chill on a Sunday arvo. Great food and drink selection, but also great vibes for any kind of group

Always lovely, hospitable and charming. It is warm, relaxing. The people who work there are funny, real and kind. The food is extra. Recommend 100 percent

Up until last night this was mine and my fiance's favourite local dining and drinking place with the friendly staff and quick service. We became regular diners here because we were looked after as local customers. Unfortunately my fiance and I found the service last night disappointing. I booked our dinner for 7pm, it took a while for us to get our drinks. We waited and waited and waited for someone to come and get our order for starters and mains. No one came, I got up to go to the bar to get someone to serve us, the waitress said she'd be with me shortly so I went and sat back down. Waited and waited again so my fiance goes to ask about someone to take our dinner order. She gets told they had forgotten all about us???? Finally someone comes and takes our order. We ask for a starter first, that soon came. Nearing 8:30pm still no dinner, my fiance and I were then deciding on whether to just leave and go grab kfc? Again we waited and again my fiance goes to ask if our dinner is coming? She gets told again they think they may have forgotten about us?? As we were sick of waiting we were about to get up and pay for our drinks and leave, and then our meal finally arrives? We are told a big group was dining and that's what took so long? Well as far as I was concerned that wasn't good enough. If it wasn't for Amy the waitress who came to us to apologize and was just amazing my fiance and I would have left without waiting any further for dinner. Since our experience ruined our special date night we decided to take the food away. I'd planned on taking my brother to dine there when he comes down from Auckland for police work but I'm not sure I will now? Although the food was good. I've never had anyone tell us we were forgotten about and having to wait almost an hour and a half for our meal. Disappointed.

Very happy with our meal and friendly service. They bought the kids meal out with our entrees which was great! Nice, relaxed atmosphere and a very large kids area which kept our energetic 2 year entertained for the evening. We will definitely be back. Thanks.

The okay-ist meal I’ve ever had. I’ll preface this by saying it wasn’t terrible, it was just completely blah. Going out to dinner I kind of expect the food to be better than what I could fumble together at home. We ordered ribs and burgers. The two orders of ribs were only picked-at during dinner and were taken home to try and make something else out of them. They were grey and the sauce was thick and plopped on top. The chicken burger was bland and flavourless. It was a pile of mildly flavoured things, so no individual elements were tasted. Just meh. Apparently the pork burger was good though! Staff were friendly, but the food was a bit slow given how busy it was when we ordered. Personally I won’t be coming back

When we arrived the waitress checked that the table that was reserved for us was to our liking. She was very pleasant and made us feel welcome. We ordered Angus beef, and fish and chips. The fish was fresh with big portions. It was simply mouth-watering with just the right amount of crispiness. I really like it that the chef didn't overwhelm our chips with tons of salt. The Angus beef was tender and really tasty - this comment was from a fussy eater. Another bonus is the spaciousness of the whole place, we didn't feel like we were hemmed in. Thanks for a great dining experience.
