This place reminds me of fish n chips back in the 90s! The food here is so tasty and perfectly cooked! The scoop size is huge and is great value for money. This is 1 scoop and 1 fish that came to a total of 6.40. I didnt expect that many chips or I wouldn't have ordered the fish too. Enough chips to fill up 2 people and have some left over. This is not local to me but I will be traveling here for my fish n chips from now on.

Very busy! Like can't find a park out front busy! Very tasty food. Best chips and yummy fish. Weird sauce that goes with the wontongs tho

First time been hear and what a delightful visit. Lovely friendly staff, yummy food and big portions! This was 1/2 a scoop of chips & 1/2 a doz chicken bites. More than enough for one person!!

Yes I give 4 stars because the fish and chips are very very good by my tastes fish took me back to when I was a kid and to my delight the burger had beetroot in it. I way in heaven. Thk you Wainoni fish & chip.

Always visited this shop. Since childhood when Avondale was full of houses highly recommend. Excellent value, delicious food especially the fish, hotdogs, meat patties and the curry rolls. Also nice to take your meal over to the Avon river opposite and eat them & throw some chips for the gulls
