My name is Dr. Sarah R. Hengel (I have a PhD in Biochemistry) and I have been treated for post treatment Lyme disease by Dr. Brobyn. I started treatment with standard antibiotics for five years with little alleviation of my symptoms (muscle spasms, joint pain, migraines, light sensitivity etc.). After being treated by Dr. Brobyn for less than a year my symptoms were resolved. Today I do not have any symptoms and am able to live the life I always dreamed. I work as a scientist and have a happy and healthy life. I am forever indebted to Dr. Brobyn for literally saving my life. Not everyone is so lucky. I would a advise those reading negative comments on here to note that there is no standard treatment protocol for treating people with Chronic Lyme disease. Some treatments will work for some while it will not for others. This is the disheartening reality that we live with today. This is a private practice. You have the right to be seen wherever you choose. I believe that it speaks volumes about the moral compass of individuals who would try to discredit the practice of a Dr. who truly works hard to heal the people she sees. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. B. She is a life saver! Be in peace, Sarah

Dr. Brobyn has been so influential in my health journey. I have been with her since 2016 and have continued to refer my family and coworkers to her. Amazing doctor, kind spirit, and a wealth of knowledge. Cannot say enough good things!!

Share review Embed review Write an update Edit review 10/6/2020 I have going to Chung Institute for 3 years. Tracy Brobyn is my physician. When I first started going I was really suffering with Lyme disease. She helped me understand how that disease works and she's been able to mitigate my symptoms. What impressed me the most about that office is the compassion that they show you from the door. Doctor Brobyn always comes in, sits down and takes time to speak with me prior to actually doing the exam or any treatments. She is concerned about my feelings about my emotional state my physical state and anything that could impact the Lyme disease. She is one of the most nurturing compassionate Physicians I have ever had the opportunity to know. I recently referred my grandson to her and she was able to help him. She's also one of the most knowledgeable Physicians I've ever met and because I am an administrator in healthcare and have been for 30 years I have met a lot of Physicians I would say if you need a good doctor who is compassionate who is knowledgeable who is ethical has a great sense of humor she's the one to see

I feel fortunate to have been referred here for my daughter. Dr Chung treated her for many issues related to skin, allergies, auto immune and behavioral that conventional medicine could only medicate her for. She had significant improvement that has lasted for many years now. He is a wonderful doctor, forever grateful!

Let me start off by saying that the work the Chung Institute seems to have done for other people is fantastic, and the staff is very polite and professional. They all seem to be honorable, stand-up individuals. However, here is a brief version of my overly negative experience with this crew. I was paired with Dr. Oswari. As a young college graduate, my insurance did not cover this medical option, so I paid out of pocket. During my first visit, Dr. Oswari and his assistant made me SO happy by reassuring me and GUARANTEEING repeatedly that they would fix my problem, or at the very least treat and improve it. I vividly remember this interaction, as I left with tears of excitement and promise in my eyes. Well, after 4 visits, months spent hoping, and many hundreds spent out of pocket for visits and various prescribed supplements, I never felt better. Zero improvement. Later, Dr. O would go on to redefine his stance, telling me he may not be able to help, and that traditional medical options were possibly my answer (which I have already considered and/or tried). I understand the fact that the Chung Institute can't magically fix everything - but they really should be clear up front and communicate better.
