Fun place with tons of songs! A bit expensive for groups, but still a blast.

Located in the center of Ginza close to the bus station going to the aurport. The building was huge and clean. Room is compact. Microphones are sanitized and kept in a sealed bag. Drinks are small so you probably end up buying more. The machine has English translation and lots of choices. Person downstairs calls you 5 mins before your time is done.

Prices are a little steep but the place is lovely!

This place is terrible. Although the karaoke is fun, they try to overcharge and rip off tourists. We were told that we were paying by the hour when we entered, but when we were finished and went to pay, they tried to charge us well over double the price (over 20,000 yen for 1 hour for 6 people). It was only when all 6 of us protested that he agreed to correct the price, to around 10,000 yen. The manager was not apologetic at all. Please do not go here. Save yourself the trouble.

A big let down After a good experience with Karaoke kan in Fujisawa we wanted to go another time in Ginza however this time it was a let down. We hired a room for an hour for two persons and one drink per person. After entering our non-smoking room (which still kinda smelled) we discovered that the tablet in our room did not work porperly (empty list) We called the staff for help. The staff did not speak sufficient English but they were friendly and tried their hardest. After about 25 minutes we were told to go to another room. We got 10 minutes extra from the repair guy. With about half an hour left we did have a bit of fun though. The selection of japanse songs with Romaji available was limited and not up to date. There was no search function so you had to scroll all the way down. Some Romaji did not show up. The price was high (three times as much as in Fujisawa for the same content). We did go during the night that added a lot to the Costs. I personally would not recommend this place unless you can speak japanses or don’t mind to spend the money.
