Stayed here two nights to enjoy the Bernina Express Train trip. Chur is a lovely little city and the hotel is in a great location. We stayed here during two hot summer days and the A/C in the hotel (room 306) was totally inadequate. The A/C control listed 18 C on the control panel, but the room never got below 28-30 C the first night. The staff was attentive, offered a different room (106) with the same problem, totally inadequate A/C. So we chose not to move all our stuff. They gave us a fan. We had to sleep with the windows open, hearing the young people outside in front of McDonalds riding skateboards until well after midnight. Slept about two hours the first night....absolute misery.... Managed to sleep four hours the second night, it was a little cooler day. Understand this is Europe and many people don't like A/C.... if you are one of those that do, please keep this in mind. If I pay good money for a nicer hotel (this shows as four stars. and WASN'T CHEAP) I expect NO EXCUSES, but first of all I expect to be able to sleep at night. The hotel was clean, breakfast was great, the staff professional, but I can't recommend it based on the A/C alone.

Great hotel, very friendly staff. The room is clean and nice with great toiletries. Nice and spacious twin room. However my one main and only complaint is THE AIRCON DOESN'T WORK. the area has had a heatwave and the room was so hot I had all the windows and curtains open and still no way of cooling the room down. I didnt sleep most of the night. I had a flannel on my head which I kept going to the bathroom to add more cold water. It was SO HOT IN THE ROOM with non functioning air con Such a shame as the hotel staff, room etc is wonderful
Located close to the station, this hotel has an amazing team, the we'll take care of your every need. Nothing is too hard or a problem.
The receptionists were great. Even offered to post our postcards. Enjoyed the free sweets. Made very welcome. Fine room, though the duvet was too small. Super breakfast.
Very efficient room layout. Comfortable bed and small but great shower and bathroom. Biggest and best tasting breakfast I have ever had in a hotel. The cook was happy to make cappuccino for some of us and the regular coffee was very good.

We had an excellent stay at the ABC Hotel. All of the staff were friendly and eager to help. Our room was lovely - modern, clean, and with all of the facilities you could want. The breakfast buffet was a highlight - a great selection with local delicacies clearly marked. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Chur.
Great location, we'll designed rooms, great bathrooms. Our 2 rooms were spanking clean and had good views. The service was excellent, and breakfast had a wide choice, enough to satisfy all tastes. Enjoyed our stay, and felt the service staff made every effort to customize our breakfast.
