Snow cladded Alps...and a wonderful experience.
Hands down, one of the best views you'll ever see in Switzerland. The train is comfortable, the attendants are polite and more importantly, the natural beauty you'll observe is absolutely breathtaking. For the best experience, take a trip during the winter as the snow makes everything simply magical.
WOW! This was an amazing trip. We took the Bernina Express from Tirano to Chur. What views, you cannot describe it. This is a must go trip I would say. If you have the possibility don't hesitate. We had the second class with panorama windows. Maybe the windows was not needed but it gave a very nice overview and light. Seats were ok but the table a bit small in compared with normal trains. Our youngest felt \car sikness\ because of all the twisting and turning so it might be wise to take something for that if you get that easily.
Incredible views across the Swiss Alps. Not the most efficient way to travel, but relax and take your time to explore this iconic rail route. Be warned that food service on board is very limited, so it's worth bringing a picnic with you.

Experience breathtaking views on this train which starts from Switzerland to several connecting countries like Italy. The train ride is beautiful and very comfortable. The seats are also very comfortable. It's a complete picturesque trip. Restrooms are mostly clean. They do offer snacks during the ride, kind of expensive though. The train stops at some points for passengers to get out and take pictures.
Very picturesque trip from Switzerland to Italy. Nice people and enough to drink and eat on board. Good restaurant for luncheon in Italy. Only the return trip on the same day let's arrive quite late and tired.
