This is a traditional looking restaurant however it is not as relaxed as the general traditional stubli type restaurants but don't let that deter you. The service was friendly and efficient and the food was absolutely gorgeous. Everything was great. I highly recommended this place.
Nice restaurant in the old part of town, service is friendly and attentive, the food selection is wide, mostly typical Swiss dishes. We had the local-tasting menu: soup, a taste of 2 different dishes and mountain cheese with jam. Portions are a good size and food was very good. We share a large mixed salad, which was yummy.

We dined here wanting a light meal and to sample a local specialty, barley soup (gerstensuppe), which had been recommended to us. Although the dish was on the menu as an appetizer, the waitress kindly offered to bring it as a larger entree. The dish was delicious, filled with barley, ham, lentils, and carrots and very nourishing.
Superb! Had the Deer Strips and was introduced to Röteli. Everything was amazing!
