È un posto di devozione per tutti i moscoviti con una tradizione lunghissima dei pellegrinaggi per l'icona della Madonna \la Gioia di tutti gli afflitti\ ritenuta miracolosa da secoli. Il candeliere gigantesco dicono che proviene dalla Cattedrale di Cristo Salvatore, quella che fu ancora prima della esplosione di 1931. Quiete e pace.
