Yes it's cliche and touristy but definitely a worthwhile and memorable experience. Even with the rainy day everything was fun and well-planned out from our tour operator - the boat rides, temple tour, etc.

An interesting stop on the islands tour that’s a mixture of the “Coconut monk’s” temple, a person who tried and prayed for unification of north and southern Vietnam, even before the wars! Also an area with dragon pillars outside, a adventure obstacle course, restaurants, curios, a crocodile “feeding” pond and a lovely garden. Seems popular with youth groups enjoying the adventure course.
Nice and interesting regarding kokonut history on this island
Nice place to visit the Mekong Delta. They have a restaurant and coffees shops here. You can go here by motorcycle and pay an entrance fee
This island is the standard destination for all of the 1-day Mekong Delta tours coming from Saigon, as it's the closest to the city, about two hours by bus. After a short boat ride from the boat terminal in the small city of My Tho on the banks of the river, you're dropped off in what the Vietnamese call an Eco-tourism area, where you'll experience a commercialized version of rural life along the Mekong. You can buy local products such as honey and coconut candy, try the local tropical fruits, see performances of traditional folk music, and of course buy souvenirs like the traditional conical hats. The highlight of the visit is a short paddle boat ride on a small canal lined with lush water coconut trees that winds it's way from the center of the island back to the island shore.
Super/polecam / it was greate/ manifique
Not much things to do and only many shops for selling the souvenir...
Fun in the sun die sure, but not great by any means. There were a couple kiddish games and things to participate but it will leave the adult unsatisfied. The koi feeding and alligator fishing m creates for fun visual at the least.
