Great museum we'll set out and interacts with younger children. I've been twice now.

An interesting museum covering the history of Cirencester. The main focus point covers the Roman history, with a fascinating section covering the Anglo Saxon period. The last section covers medieval up to the more recent era.
My boyfriend and I are Roman history enthusiasts and we loved this place. The mosaics are impressive and I especially loved the lounge area that was decorated with Roman style furnishings and walls. There is lots to see and read here, its excellent. I learnt a lot. Not just roman history too. Excellent gift shop. Very warm welcome from man on till and the lady who explained how the covid layout worked. Our only suggestion...please sell the knitted roman soldiers - they are adorable!
Such an interesting place for learning about the Roman's and more. Well laid out bright clean and airy. Would allow 2_3 hours for a good visit. Doing really well during pandemic looking forward to the other galleries open again. Thank you
Very nice small museum giving local history from Roman thru to Medieval times. Was able to just show up - but they did have sensible Covid measures in place.
