Absolutely beautiful scenery within and around this Neolithic and Iron Age site. Some truly spectacular views to be had despite quite a steep walk to the top. Lots to see including barrows and ponies! Definitely recommended although depending on the time of year, wrap up warm as it’s quite exposed so can get very cold and windy!

Fabulous first trip here, goals were fresh air and exercise and history homework! All achieved. Quite hard going getting up the hills, not for the feint hearted, but certainly worth it for the views and the descent! I did see people of all ages and abilities there, although not wheelchair accessible. Free parking, no facilities. Felt like being in the New Forest! Highly recommend (lots and lots of dog walkers so good for that too)
Large iron age hill fort with prominent double ditches. Great views in all directions, to the sea at Worthing, Brighton and beyond, and inland over rolling fields. Some ponies live on the hill, so keep dogs under control.
Great walk for the family and the dogs. Be aware there can be animals grazing. Lovely views all round. You can see the sea. Awesome. Great place for a picnic. Very hilly so be prepared to get puffed out. Windy too, so bring a jumper even if the weather is good. Enjoy x
Great place to walk dogs. Look out for the ponies grazing on the top, though, and also sometimes cattle. Around the base of Cissbury Ring are lots of fields and woodland for dogs to have a good run. Beautiful views over towards Worthing.
