Excellent meal - with both the tluyuda and the pork belly. Both were fantastic - well cooked and full of flavour. Lovely ambience and attentive service at very reasonable prices. Managed even with poor Spanish!

Casual Mexican place with a wood fired grill. The food was very good. The staff had very little English, but they gave us a menu in English and were very patient with us. I recommend the grilled beef tacos, the beef shank in yellow mole and the pannacotta (served with three types of ice cream and crumbled biscuit). The drinks menu was very reasonable. The bill was 1384 pesos for two, before tips, and this included a bottle of wine.

Let me tell you about this place. The food is wonderful! Typical food from Oaxaca with all its delicious flavors in all its glory. Their attention to every detail in the food is superb! The restaurant is cozy, the music is great, and the service is almost impeccable.

Just get the mole or follow the waiters recommendations. We had the intestine tacos and some sort of cricket thing to start (can't remember the name!) And both were great! We then had the beef tongue with almond mole and then because we were still hungry we had the duck with banana and black mole. Both were fantastic but preferred the almond mole to be honest.
