After taking mom to The Claremont for dinner a couple of times to get a feel for it, we moved her there in November 2019, and simply could not have made a better choice! Like almost any senior struggling to live on her own, she was not in favor of moving, but she loved the activities and quickly made lots of new friends. Her one bedroom independent living apartment is fantastic, complete with her own screened in patio. The food continues to impress as well. Mom has since gone through hip surgery and is almost finished with rehab, and with dramatically declining memory, we will be moving her into memory care in the same building. I can't imagine a home for seniors having a more caring and helpful staff than The Claremont! The attention and caring we receive has been second to none. They've done extremely well keeping COVID-19 out of the building and we feel very safe having mom there. They are a little less expensive than similar facilities, but don't let that fool you. We looked at a lot of places, and have friends who've had parents both at Claremont and other facilities, and Claremont competes very well on all important factors. It doesn't feel like a senior facility; it feels like home. We feel like family there, and continue to believe it's the best place for mom.

My Mom is in independent living at the Claremont and loves her apartment. The staff has been very helpful and responsive. She is really enjoying the food there as well. The Claremont has a “family” feel and I like that. They even bake a cake for each resident on their Birthday. Thank you Claremont staff for taking such great care of my Mom.

I wanted to tell you how invaluable Vanessa, your assistant director of nursing. and caregiver, Jabria are to your staff. They have been absolutely amazing through this pandemic to ensure mom is happy, well cared for and connected to us even though we haven't been able to see her very often. Because of them, everyone has heard how the Claremont is the perfect fit for mom. They have given her the best care in every way. They have related to her in a very personal and respectful manner. She lights up when either of them are around and smiles from the inside out. They have sent pictures and report on her well being which is invaluable when we are prohibited from visiting. From the time mom first entered the Claremont until now, her care and contentment is 100% better. Whenever we see her, she is clean, her clothes and shoes are coordinated, she is not wrinkled, her hair is combed, she is happy. They both take their jobs above and beyond--truly on a personal level with the residents. It's not \watching\ them, it's interacting, respecting, caring and giving them a quality of life. It's not waiting for their life to end but making each day they are there a quality day to be enjoyed with dignity and many times, a day of celebration. I know you have gone through a lot of transition and your staff is probably worn to a frazzle through COVID, but I truly hope in mom's lifetime they will be a part of her life.

My mother has been quite happy with her move to Claremont even though she was only there a few months before the coronavirus shut things down. The pricing is reasonable and at least initially it was a very comfortable environment, with basic services and a home-like atmosphere, vs the almost hotel-like environment of some places we visited. Recently, they have started some more creative ideas for residents to do things outside, and for family outdoor visits. We all looks forward to the day that more of the community feel can be re-established. Mom loves her apartment and especially the attached outdoor screened in patio that has been a life saver during these times.
