The Service department embodies all the bad things you think about customer service today; poor processes, zero customer focus, and useless management. Tried to schedule a 7500 mile service for my Genesis online. Received several confirmation emails, signed by the Service Manager, stating my car would be picked up at 9:45 and a loaner provided. 9:45 arrives and I have nothing and no one from the dealership. Call the service department to find out that they have my appt for 1:30 and no one is coming to get my car and there are no loaners. No attempts to make it right; just sorry excuses. I've heard nothing from the Service Manager and don't expect to; just emails confirming my appt. If you find a good one, keep it. If you are looking at this dealership, keep looking.
I’d rate my overall experience/ satisfaction at 5 stars. I’ve bought 2 Genesis G70s, a 2019 Red 3.3T and now a 2021 Black 3.3T and I absolutely love it! If I had to make a recommendation please ask for Tevin Roberts a salesmen at Genesis of Columbia, MD. Tevin hands down made my entire experiences a 5 star. He listens to what you want, he’s very knowledgeable and passionate about Genesis, and best of all he doesn’t try to sell you. I don’t plan on buying another car for a while however if I do I’ll be reaching out to Tevin for assistance. Great job Tevin and Genesis of Columbia for making my dream car(s) come true. :)
