Clay Space is awesome! Very supportive community of creative people to help you get started or reacquainted with working in the ceramic arts. Also seems good for people who know what they're doing too. I appreciate that the classes I have been in feel as independent or guided as you want them to. Teachers are nice and knowledgeable. Clay Space is also very Covid-conscious and it feels very safe. This is a community I will be involved in for as long as I'm in Eugene.

Insisted on proving my worthiness to use their kilns or pay for in person classes in the middle of the pandemic, which is not possible for me. Pretty rude and unwelcoming.
Great space! Affordable member packages and variety of classes.
Wonderful owners, great classes and large open space!
Clay space has been a great place for me to learn pottery. Ceramic artists from beginners to advanced can take their craft to the next level here in many ways. If you're a beginner, the classes are inviting and fun. Mariah's instruction is patient, thorough, and easy to follow. I've heard wonderful things about the other instructors there too. If you have experience you can take a mid-level/advanced class. They offer half a dozen or more class selections that range from one day to 8 weeks (meeting once a week, with open studio hours access, a bag of clay, and free use of glazes). You can also work it out on your own with day passes and ten day passes on a punch card (ten pack). Love this place!
