Clinton, one of the managers at this location, is an excellent representation of what good customer service is about. All Avis locations should adopt his hard working and courteous service. The location is small but the small but the service is not. Just call ahead to see if they have what you need. This is a great neighborhood location with clean cars and quick service.

I’ve rented easily 100 cars in my life, I’ve never seen such dirty cars. One car was had sauce on the driver seat. I did what I’ve never before done: asked for a different car. The new care was also gross — covered with crumbs and sticky finger marks. Here is a photo of just the door handle. We ended up driving the car home and cleaning it ourselves. This level of cleanliness would be weird during normal times, but during a pandemic it is dangerous.
I rent all my cars from this location! Brenda is a rockstar. Their customer service is outstanding... highly recommended.

BRENDA TO THE RESCUE!!!!!! Seriously. She saved the day. My boyfriend and I flew in from Los Angeles on a red eye this morning to attend my sister’s graduation this evening. We had a car reserved at the Enterprise at 10501 Page Ave. After taking a 20 uber ride there, they would NOT give me a car because I had an out of state license and a debit card. Ummmmm - aren’t most people who are getting a rental from out of state!!?? They said the only way possible to get the rental was with a credit card. I don’t have credit cards. I offered to pay with CASH. They would not accept it. So since I’m a responsible human with ZERO credit card debt I’m penalized?! Nothing on my reservation said anything about not being able to use a debit card. They were less than helpful and even made condensing remarks along the lines of “oh you don’t have money???”. We called this Avis/Budget in Clayton and sweet Brenda answered. She said that there was NO DIFFERENCE using a credit card or debit card. The out of state license also makes no difference. DUH! Amazing! So we hopped in the 2nd uber of the morning and headed over. Ten minutes later we were driving away in a car at a lower rate with a much more enjoyable experience. Enterprise was also trying to charge me a 200 deposit - Brenda did not. She really did help us. I don’t know what we would have done! I am from St. Louis and visit often. I will always come to Brenda when I need a car in the future. She is more than accommodating! THANK YOU BRENDA!
Update: Guess I should of waited till I was charged to make this review. Brenda said we could return the car anytime on Sunday. She said if closed just used the drop box. What she didn’t bother to inform us of is if we use the drop box we’ll be charged with another day. Called when I was charged 88 more than expected and she was rather rude and said sorry can’t help. Brenda is a snake and just out for people’s money. This location and specifically Brenda who helped me was by far the best rental service I’ve EVER experienced!!! Had a huge issue with Enterprise and wasn’t able to get my rental this morning. Made one call to Avis and Brenda said she would be more than happy to help me out. She went above and beyond to make sure my vacation went as planned. Also, side note Avis is able to rent without a credit card! Will always return to Brenda when I need a rental.

**Buyers Beware; just go to Enterprise*** will not rent if credit score is less than 650. I certainly understand the specifications but in my experience they took 500 for the rental a week before I was to leave and the representative on the phone NEVER specified the credit score limit. Went to pick up vehicle for trip to see family for the holiday, and was denied. My issue is they're holding my money for 3-10 business days, so because of their employees failed communication I couldn't take the money they took and go to another place. Thank God I have supportive family, my sister loaned me the money to rent at Enterprise. Enterprise got me booked and on the road within an hour, paid with debit, and their hold is less than the 250 Avis charges; they also release refunds within 24 hours. A credit score doesn't define if someone is a valid driver to rent a car. Will never visit or recommend this company to anyone. Ever.
