Great trail with scenic views, this is the perfect place to go for a walk on a weekend. Thry could use more dog waste baskets but everything else is great!

Nice shaded parking lot with porta johns to access the greenway. Walking from this parking area to the Parking area for Clayton River Walk is about a 4.75 mile round trip. A new tunnel is under construction to extend the greenway to Legend Park.

Beautiful path along the river for miles! Always a peaceful run and plenty of shade from the trees to make it even more pleasant in spite of the hot, summer days. Early mornings on the path in summer are best!
Lovely yet brief walk that joins the Neuse River Trail with plenty of wildlife and even terrain for anyone looking to bike or bring little ones along.
