Going to the left about 40 yards in (at the Y), and it becomes a steep shortcut to the overlooks. There's 2 great overlooks about 40 feet apart, looking North at the Nantahala national Forest. Absolutely breathtaking view

Did this after the James E Edmond trail and it was a nice stroll. Took 1 hour. The views were amazing. Super easy.

Well maintained trail. A couple areas may be challenging for seniors.

Beautiful well traveled trail. Mostly moderate but with some steep climb areas that can be hard for little kids and seniors. Beautiful view at the summit. Would give 5 stars for better parking arrangements.

I did the James Edmond trail, but I've done the Tennessee rock loop multiple times. I enjoy giving these little posts, but when both trails start at the same place. Have fun and find your pace
