Dr. Ervin is awesome, and I have enjoyed seeing her. But the staff need to be a little more on top of insurance verification. I had already been in for a medical appointment and they took my insurance. My vision is through the same provider, but they didn't double check my vision benefits prior to my visit. They told me I could pay out of pocket then get reimbursed. I used to work for an eye clinic. You never assume someone is going to pay out of pocket. You do your due diligence as a provider and then let the patient know. I now have to re-schedule so they can call my insurance to verify next week. Super frustrating. Especially when I told them I know what my insurance covers but they still insisted it would be out of pocket up front first. If you say you take insurance then you need to do your verification PRIOR to a visit.

Dr. Julie Ervin is wonderful! The whole place gave professional and prompt service too! They were able to work me in for an urgent eye evaluation after insulation fibers decided to make my eye it's new home. Dr. Ervin was able to treat me quickly and answered all my questions. I am so grateful for the whole team there. Thank you again! I'll be letting others know!

Me and my husband moved to the Benbrook area and needed an eye doc. Well. I searched online and found Clear Eye Associates in Fort Worth. They had many great reviews and then some not so good ones that ,in my opinion were ridiculous. Anyhow, our visit was awesome, staff was super friendly, the doctor was amazing and spent time going over our eye exams in detail and showed us our many options for care being my husband is a diabetic.
