Lots of Star Thistles and little shade. Bear Creek runs along the site and offers some swimming possibilities, although other nearby swimming holes are better. But the place is free to camp, has pit toilets, and is a remarkably quiet and pleasant place to spend the evening.

This is not the place for all people but this is a wonderful place To check out the history of the old cowboys they used to come through that territory they must have been in heaven when they are in this spot. River is right dear to supply cattle with water and grass wonderful area in the middle of nowhere

Very nice place to camp, be sure to bring water. The elk are very fun to watch.

Large dispersed camping. Car and rv day parking up top with bathrooms and picnic tables. Camping area below is immense. 2 more bathrooms, fire rings, picnic tables and access to the river.

Nice hike . Easy to find, good parking pretty view ...long trail.
