So glad we stopped at Peterson's. We wanted something, but after a big lunch, didn't really want dinner. After spending a couple of hours canoeing on a nearby lake, we thought ice cream would be a tasty treat. The dogs were in tow, they are always up for a pup cup. We decided to split a brownie sundae with one scoop of lockdown therapy (Graham cracker ice cream) and happy ending (cookie dough). The sundae included hot fudge, caramel sauce, oreo crumbles, cookie pieces, whipped cream, and a cherry. A great treat for us and the pups at a very affordable price (only 8 plus tip). The line was long but moved quickly. We waited approximately 30 minutes, but the line was almost to the sidewalk out front when we arrived. There were so many options, we had time to really read through the menu. Plus, the puppies loved all of the attention they received. We will definitely stop at Peterson's next time we are in the area.

I thought it was just another ice cream place that over charges. Boy was I wrong! Not only is the ice cream well worth the cost (it is on the pricey side) but they are also currently my favorite place to get fries! I have to wonder what else they excel at. Maybe I'll have to go find out. I know my taste buds will thank me. My waste line? Not so much.

Very tasty and creamy ice cream. Just a bit disappointed not to have certain kids favorite flavors, like strawberry. Will visit again!

Haven't been to Petersons in while. Sadly, they ddnt have cherry ice cream this time, ordered berry __(I forgot the name)ice cream and banana split instead. loved it!

Loved this little family owned Ice cream cafe.. I got cookies and cream and sister got Van Van Lahr( their version of german chocolate), it was so creamy and delicious, we both loved our choices.... it was literally in the backyard but the atmosphere was cozy, comfy and charming...
