This is the perfect small town community centre. It has a pool and a workout centre. The staff are friendly and outgoing, the place is clean and they offer great aquatics and PD day programs
Vanastra Recreation Centre is a moderate size recreation Complex located about 2.5 Kilometers south of Clinton Ontario.East of HWY#4.Servicing local community residents for over 50 years.Recent renovations include Repaired roof on the main building,resurfaced asphalt parking lot & driver access area.There has been designated signs posted for special parking for for Seniors & specialize vehicles.Exterior landscaping has also been revamped.Washrooms & changing facilities have been pleasantly improved.And a general overall improvement has been implemented.Facilities include,heated pool with 2 slides diving board & guide ropes.There is accommodation for both Parents,friends & relatives to watch & cheer on the children who can partake in swimming class available for children at various age levels.Taught by both experienced & patient instructors.Recreational Swimming for all ages is available on either a daily or annual modest fee.There is also an exercise room with facilities for such.And a sauna too.All in all,this Centre holds many varieties of things to keep one busy all year round!Check out the action in Vanastra! Love the family friendly atmosphere here! We enjoy the free swims. There was a foul odour in the ladies change room though...
