Friendly staff made you feel welcome and checking to see if your happy with meal and to see if there was more they could do, the chefs were friendly and consistent not much wait time. The bar staff greeted with smiles and really took care of us before we were to go through for a meal.. The staff through put created a radiant ambiance..going again

This is a restaurant located in an old Victorian building, therefore it comes with all the old school charm. The ambience and layout is classy but not too over the top. Good - We ordered tha lamb rump and pork belly for dinner. The meals were promptly prepared and served. The pork belly was nicely cooked with very crunchy skin. The lamb rump portions were generous but the texture of the meat in the mouth was different from most lamb we have had. Service - the service was nice and efficient, starting from the nice young man at the bar to the wait staff.
Food was excellent but expect high end Auckland prices on the food. Service was okay but we did go when they were packed out. Booking ahead seems to be essential. Nice ambiance and not too loud which was good.
One of the best restaurants, bars and cafes in Otago. Changing menu depending on availability of fresh ingredients adds something new each time we go. Now I've of our favourite places to eat and a great so on the drive up to Central Lakes
What a fantastic dinner we had at Olivers. - - Outstanding service, food and setting. Beautiful!
Interesting looking menu and decor. Food is nice, once it comes out. Spent rather longer than I would wish at dinner, over 45 minutes between courses is a bit much. I also don't appreciate ordering a double espresso and being brought a single and being reassured that it was a double when it clearly was not.
Such a beautiful location, ambience aplenty. Service excellent!! Entrées delicious, mains very good and a good portion size. Value for money definately - recommended
Of you want to dive into Victorian times, feel the vibe of the New Zealand gold rush and be accompanied by great food and beer look to further. This Boutique venue offsets all that and the test!
