It was actually pretty good, the school rules may seem strict, but in most cases they're fairly lenient compared to other schools. The teachers are very supportive, and they'll do pretty much anything to make sure you're getting the grades you want to achieve, or need to achieve if you're under your target grade. My time at this school was pretty much perfect, I got grades that I'm delighted with thanks to the help of teachers and friends, and I couldn't have really asked for anything different. Only issues with the school is that some of the students who go here are quite clearly kids who couldn't care less about their education, and were clearly going to fail from the beginning. Also, in most cases bullying isn't handled well, and kids will start fights left right and centre, of course these fights are taken very seriously and in most cases kids are kicked out because of it, but bullying is commonly overlooked and there are a few kids who become insecure and scared because of it. However, from this point forward, the school is only getting better, so if you're considering coming to this high school, as someone who's been through it all, Grade 2s and Grade 9s, I'd say the support you'll get here is like no other.

Not good experience. Teachers can't spell italian properly. Disappointed.
One of the best high school in Manchester. It’s my fourth year in this school and I’ve had the best experience so far.
As the CEO of the Coop Academies Trust I suppose people would expect me to rave about this academy. I have seen the academy grow and develop over the last six years and I am proud of its achievements and the way students and staff cooperate to try and achieve the best possible standards in academic and personal development areas. The 20m investment in the new build that includes a state of the art theatre are a testament to the confidence the city council, DfE and the Trust have in the academy. Proud Director.
The school dinner teachers cannot provide manners to other Students. I was kicked out the line for no reason and she had no evidence to prove that I did something wrong. I wouldn't trust these dinner teachers and i would recommend that Your child chooses a pack lunch if you wish. Other than that I am grateful to be part of the school. The schools education process is fantastic and there behavior management is strictly supervised also there attendance has the best attendances, however there are a few teachers that do not provide enough manners and politeness but I am proud to be a part of this school. I am satisfied with the school however I am extremely vexed for the teachers forcing students to do something that is otherwise education and failing to comply will result in a consequence. I hope this will be managed in the future
