I want to say thank you to everyone at Broom Leys Surgery for all their help during these difficult times. I have had to contact the surgery regularly over the last few months and have found that everyone is helpful and caring especially the receptionists. I am feeling much better and wanted to say thank you Broom Leys Surgery.
Receptionist are absolutely rude, need to show customers more responsive respected with the attitude to help. There's no point sitting in administration if you aren't going to assist or help your customers pass on a message or complete a task adequately. Your not only wasting my time your the misleading NHS trust and lack of care been provided to patients
Firstly I must say that the medical care here is very good indeed & the reception staff are always pleasant. However, the whole thing is let down by the system. Sometimes an item on a prescription will be transmitted to the pharmacy for collection but the next time it won't be & no notification is received necessitating a visit to the surgery - easy if inconvenient for most people but what about those with no transport etc? No one can seem to explain why it happens in this random fashion. Recently had one very frustrating experience. I tried to order repeat medication online but I needed a review before this would be possible. I rang the surgery to query this & was given a telephone appointment for a meds review & advised to visit the surgery to request a prescription in person. I attempted this the following day only to find the surgery closed for 'Protected Learning'. On enquiry at the door I was turned away & advised to return the next day. Wasted time & petrol and a disruption to a day when I had other things planned. I have since been told that the medication review process is set to be overhauled & in future patients would be made aware of when a review was due, so that this scenario does not happen. When people are messed around in this way it is unsurprising that sometimes they become frustrated with staff.
