Conner and I, Erica, are grateful for choosing Christa as our midwife! She always handled situations with the appropriate amount of care and attention, remaining confident, calm, and without showing any hint of worry. She is very decisive and clear. She is quick to answer texts and calls with any concerns or questions and knows many holistic remedies to infant ailments. If there was 10 stars i would definitely put it! Let me start by saying CHRISTA WEST IS THE BEST IN TOWN LITERALLY She went above and beyond to assist me at every appointment. Awesome customer service, very friendly, respectful, understanding and just a call or text away whenever needed. I was hesitant at first about having a homebirth because im a VBAC candidate but with Christa's help and guidance i was able to overcome my fear and it was a very successful homebirth experience, I loved everything about it She's great at what she does and loves her job. She saved my daughters life and for that i will forever be thankful HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, no further comments needed

Christa did an incredible job helping me deliver my first daughter. When I became pregnant with my second it was the easiest choice to go with her again, absolutely no hesitation in making that decision. She is so easy-going and makes you feel extremely comfortable. I never had a worry about delivery. So grateful for her! Definitely recommend her to anyone who plans on having a homebirth.

I highly recommend Christa for anybody that is searching for a great midwife. I am so grateful to had her as my midwife for my second birth. I had my first baby in water at home in Washington State in 2013 with a great midwife, and I was so worry I could not have the same experience here in Florida, but fortunately I found Christa. She was always there for me (any time, any day) if I had a question or a concern. She was always very helpful and provide really good information in all the topics I had questions about. She also referred me to books, documental or scientific papers that corroborate her recommendations. She also know when to forget about the holistic way and go to the doctor if is an emergency of simply is the best for you or your baby. You want to be in the hands of somebody that can understand that not everything can be cure with alternative medicine and that sometimes the hospital is the place to go. She respected our decisions when we rejected some of the procedures or when we decided to do something our way, always putting on the table the pros and cons. The birth of my daughter was marvelous, she is the kind of midwife that if you want to be completely in charge of your birth, she will step out or be right there if you want it that way. She is very kind and have a lot of sympathy for you and your situation (whatever it is). She listen and give a lot of support. We felt in love with her since the beginning, and if we have more babies, will be with her FOR SURE!

I had the pleasure of having Christa with Coastal Midwifery recommended to me through the birthing community. From the moment I met her I knew she would be the provider I needed for my homebirth. Throughout my pregnancy she was readily available to me when needed. She was always prompt with our scheduled appointments and provided me enough time to ask questions or share any thoughts I had. The day I went I to labor I called Christa early in the morning and she answered quickly and kept me calm. When she arrived to my home her presence helped me remain calm and focused. Throughout the laboring process she kept me up to date as to what was going on and made me feel very involved. We had a successful incredible homebirth. Christa played a huge part in our success and we are forever grateful! I highly recommend her to any mommas wanting to try a different birthing experience at home with a midwife!
