Great outdoors with plenty of well maintained paths for parents with small children. Unfortunately due to current restrictions the Tea Room is only able to serve Tea, filter Coffee and Hot Chocolate. If you fancy a Latte or proper Hot Chocolate prior to your walk I recommend preparing in advance or visiting a coffee shop before hand.
Beautiful park to go to with the family. Snowfari was fantastic and kids loved it. Was a nice change of scenery given all the restrictions with covid. Crystal grotto was a nice little adventure.
Lovely scenery ruined by an incredibly rude old lady running the car park. She couldn't possibly wait an extra minute while we got 2 screaming toddlers into a car whilst covered in mud. Apparently it was more helpful to hover about nagging repeatedly and moaning about us and other customers into her walkie talkie. Apart from her, it was lovely. Edit after response: That's good to know. She was very unprofessional and not a good representative for the place. Have added a star now I know she is not a direct employee.
Lovely scenery - even on a wet & very grey day. Well worth the visit.
