PROS: Owner met us and showed us to our room, offered to help with luggage. Bonfire in the cool May evening was nice. Very peaceful place, based on the laid-back owner/host, and the location. Room was very large, with a full-size couch and easy chair in the main room, as well as a dining-room table. Up a couple steps and around the corner, there is a kitchen with a good-sized frig, a half-stove with two burners, microwave, and coffee maker. The frig was stocked with breakfast needs such as bagels & cream cheese, orange juice, and other continental breakfast-type items, so that we could take breakfast whenever we wanted it without leaving the room. Coffee and creamers were also provided. The room seemed more like an apartment than a typical hotel room, and was a place we'd definitely recommend to others, especially if you are about to go into the East entrance to Yellowstone! CONS: A little far from the town of Cody, so it's best to stop for gas and other supplies on your way in. Restaurant wasn't open when we were there, so I can't really comment on that. Our room was downstairs and the window was near the road. It didn't bother us, but it was possible to hear traffic going by - what there was of it!

Beautiful location about an hour from the northeast entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Our suite was very clean, well stocked and decorated tastefully in a western style. Our host was friendly and ready to share a beer at their beautiful bar. We had some extra excitement when a large bear decided to visit the property! I would definitely stay here again. Loved it!
Good service, but the water was not very warm and we had a lot of these little bugs in the room. The complimentary breakfast basket was nice.
Looks great. You'll enjoy the area around the lodge. Nice place.
A great lodge just outside of Yellowstone. Service was fantastic and room was clean and comfortable. The drive between the lodge and Yellowstone is probably one of the most scenic stretches in America. Would definitely stay here again.
If I could give six stars I would. The service was amazing. The food was delicious. The rooms/ cabins were very nice. If you want to visit the park and enjoy the nearby western town Cody in one trip this is the place to go.
It was a beautiful hotel room, and was extremely close to the yellowstone entrance. Will definitely be staying here again on my next trip through
Our room was the Colter, it was huge, slept up to 8-9 people. Very clean and comfortable. They offered bagels (in room) for breakfast. Restaurant is not open. Deli is not open. Super nice guy running the lodge. 38 miles to Yellowstone and about 20 minutes to town of Cody (museum), and food. Town of Cody offers laundromat for clothes. Nearby lodges for horseback riding. River rafting out of season now, for this area.
