Must stop place that will only take up a solid hour of your time. Many plaques that give you details explanations and historical information being the town and the people within it. Bring water it gets very hot. Considering I’m from NYC this was a unique experience for me which I found very fun. I hope you enjoy some of the pictures I took there :)

Such a great and adventurous place with amazingly kind and knowledgable staff (I bought at least three books in the souvenir shop. Barely closed my luggage!). So much history can be found in this place - the (in)famous "Hole in the wall", a school, a bank etc. Dozens of well preserved buildings and hundreds of artefacts that will take you back in time.

This is a must stop and see if you are in Cody Wyoming. These are the actual cabins from Wyoming and Montana. You can see The Hole in the Wall cabin along with many others. Plus there is a barn structure full of artifacts from the period. Absolutely stop by.

Stopped by here for authentic experience of an old town. Knowledgeable person selling tickets was super friendly and readily answered questions and offered information about the place. Numerous buildings with many original items from those early days, meaning late 1800s. Takes about an hour. With a visit if you are in the area. Small gift shop. Highly recommend.

All the buildings are authentic. The history here will leave you speechless. Jeremiah Johnston is buried in the cemetery. It's liking stepping through the television into the set of Bonanza

We got there and it was closed. But the old man who was managing the place open up for us and we paid half the price. Probably 1/4 of the rooms were open but at the end he opened also the museum and it was amazing. Great Pisces from the fur rush, Indians and cowboys items. Very well preserved. It definitely worth a stop! Thank you for opening the gate for us.

We visited this old town in 1974 it's so exciting to know it's still opened. At the time we bought a signed picture by Bob Edgar. Wonder if it's worth anything?
